Balayage, AirTouch and Total Blond

Balayage is hand-painting strands with a soft transition. AirTouch is a finer version — shorter hairs are blown away and only the longer ones are lightened, so the transition is the most natural. Total Blond is all-over lightening to a light blonde with no transition. The practical difference is regrowth: with balayage and AirTouch the regrowth melts away and you come for a touch-up two or three times a year; Total Blond has a visible line and needs roots redone every 6–8 weeks.

Before the treatment we run a hair diagnosis to estimate how much lightening your hair can take. We work with premium products (Dr.Sorbie, Davines) and recommend follow-up care to keep the hair in condition.

Balayage lasts 3 to 4 months without a touch-up, or 2 to 3 months on a dark natural base. The colour is not applied from the roots, so the transition between regrowth and the lightened strands stays soft and regrowth does not show as soon as with classic highlights. Toning after 6–8 weeks, a sulphate-free shampoo and heat protection extend its life; chlorinated water and home lightening products shorten it.

Going blonde costs from €140 to €400 depending on your current colour. Total Blond from a light base is €140–180 and 4 hours, AirTouch or Balayage €260–300 and 7 hours, a colour change from dark €300–400 and 6 hours. The price depends on the number of lightening steps needed, hair length and density, and colouring history — henna and box dyes react unpredictably.
